State and DC Government

The Government Relations team serves as Howard University’s liaison to:

  • Members of Congress,
  • Council of the District of Columbia,
  • the Executive Office of the Mayor of the District of Columbia,
  • agencies of the Federal, state, and local governments,
  • key local and regional officials, and
  • major higher education and business associations.
